| Circular Sapphire Windows are normally flat polished transparent, ideal for research, medical, space, military applications where high pressure, high temperature, high thermal loads, vacuum, scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, small coefficient of friction as well as optical and insulating properties are a consideration. |
| A wide range of diameters are available from 2mm to 500mm, with varying thicknesses, and have a standard surface finish of 60-40 scratch-dig and wave front error of 3 lambda. 99 percent transmission from the UV to SWIR is achievable when A/R coated on two sides. |
