Sapphire and Ruby are excellent orifice jewel materials due to its high hardness, high strength, scratch resistance, high temperature resistance, as well as low coefficient of friction.
With 20 years’ diverse experiences of sapphire nozzles fabrication, we can ensure super surface finish and tighter tolerances to meet customer’s precision applications. The hole diameter of sapphire orifices are available in sizes from 0.04 to 0.18 mm, and tolerance up to 0.002. The surface of hole can be highly polished and surface quality can reach 40/20.
Typical Applications of sapphire orifice includes Precision flow control - gases or liquids, Accurate timing in pneumatic or hydraulic circuits, Pressure dividing circuits and pneumatic resistance bridges, and Impedance matching.
